We love what we do.   Our company is small in size and is locally owned and operated.  The owner of Grounds By Design, llc. has been educated in both landscape/contracting and forest science.  All planting and hardscaping work is guaranteed after completion.  We  offer a two week maintenance period that is included with every planting project.  That also includes watering the planting materials to help them become established in the landscape.  If you have any questions, large or small, after the project is completed, please, call us back... chances are we will be there to answer them the same day.  We are here to build a future with our customers.  

Above you can see an example of our masonry work.  The left pillar was repaired after it was damaged by a falling tree.  Grounds By Design, llc. repaired the brick work and installed the iron gate to match the original historic construction.

This project was completed from an original design.  The design was broken into individual phases that took over three years to complete.  After completion it was a featured house in the Mother's Day Kitchen and Garden Tour in the Mueseum District. 

This brick and bluestone landing was not part of the home's original construction.  Grounds By Desing, llc. removed the original steps and landing in order to rebuild the entrance from start to finish.

This example is a perfect combination of hardscaping and planting materials that combines to enhance the home's new attractive renovations.

A seasonal maintenance contract is a wonderful way to keep your home looking beautiful through the winter months.  Seasonal contracts offer flexability in your lawn care and plant maintenance throughout the year.

Smaller projects offer an opportunity to personalize a project.  This installation was inspired by the homeowner's love of Japanese maples.
